After the death of a parent , there is a growing movement to create “support notes” that pre-write the medical care that children with severe disabilities should receive and the life they want to spend. Not only as a means of communicating with the people around the child, but also said that “I was able to sort out the necessary information and a little less anxiety.”
A new project has kicked off in Japan to offer remote read-aloud story time sessions to children who are battling cancer and other diseases at hospitals, while avoiding person-to-person contact.
According to the city government , a former male employee abused a child twice in May-July 2019. The male employee retired in August of the same year, but the city said that he was in violation of the obligation to respect persons with disabilities as specified by the Child Welfare Law. The city has not confirmed abuse of other users.
“2019 marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of “Brave Kids”, a voluntary organization in Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture, which supports brothers and sisters (siblings) of children with disabilities.”
“Children in Kumamoto Prefecture are still in need of mental health care for the trauma and stress they suffered from deadly earthquakes that hit the southwestern Japan prefecture in April 2016.”
“According to the Hyogo Prefectural Government , last year the service claimed a total of 20 days for nine users who actually didn’t use the service, but nonetheless claimed compensation. Takarazuka City requests return of the renumeration based on the Child Welfare Law.”
