A blind man who heads an organization for people with disabilities in Japan has written a poem dedicated to “fellows with disabilities in Ukraine.”
Fujii Katsunori heads the Japan Council on Disability.
A former university professor has become the first totally blind person to pass Grade 1 of the Kyoto Kentei, which tests applicants on a broad range of topics relating to the culture and history of Japan’s former capital, Kyoto.
The figure, however, falls below the average pay for employees among all industries, at 352,000 yen in 2020.
