Cluster of Eight People Infected with COVID at a Shimane Prefecture Welfare Facility for the Disabled

Shimane Prefecture announced on April 12th that one new cluster outbreak was confirmed. Eight people were found to be infected at a welfare facility for the disabled in Matsue City.

Matsue City – Shimane Prefecture announced on April 12th that one new cluster outbreak was confirmed.

Eight people were found to be infected at a welfare facility for the disabled in Matsue City.

This outbreak in the brings the number of infections to 1,139 cases in total.

Whilst the total number of infectons and cluster is low in Shimane, many clusters do seem to be found at the prefecture’s welface facilities. The last cluster reported was found on December 31st at a welfare facility for the elderly in Izumo City.
