Cluster found at welfare service for people with disabilities in Hiroshima City after staff ate dinner with patient

According to Hiroshima City, PCR tests were conducted on six people who ate at a restaurant in the city together with a patient who was found to be infected on the 26th of this month, and a total of six people were confirmed to be infected. One person has moderate symptoms, and five people have mild or no symptoms.

HIROSHIMA – Hiroshima City announced on April 30 that two clusters of people infected with the coronavirus occurred at two places: a dinner party held in Hiroshima City and a disability welfare service office in the city.

According to Hiroshima City, PCR tests were conducted on the six people who ate at a restaurant in the city together with a patient who was found to be infected on the 26th of this month, and a total of six people were confirmed to be infected. One person has moderate symptoms, and five people have mild or no symptoms.

The symptoms are moderate in one person and mild or asymptomatic in five others. In the welfare service center in the city, one staff member was confirmed to be infected on the 26th, and PCR tests were conducted on 41 staff members and 44 users.
