According to the police, the three are suspected of padding the number of days of daily life care services provided to people with disabilities using the facility between April 2019 and August 2020, and having the city of Kosai in Shizuoka Prefecture transfer approximately 213 million yen in cash, including approximately 500,000 yen in fraudulent nursing care benefits.
The police have not confirmed the identity of the three men. The three were arrested in January this year on suspicion of cheating Toyohashi City out of 3.6 million yen in nursing care benefits and other expenses.
