Thirty-eight people newly infected with the coronavirus in Sendai, seven at a disability welfare facility, cluster confirmed

SENDAI – Miyagi Prefecture and Sendai City announced on the 25th that 38 men and women under the age of 10 to 80s were infected with the new coronavirus. The breakdown of newly infected people is 18 in Sendai, 6 in Shiogama, 4 in Natori, and 3 in Ishinomaki. 14 people have unknown infection routes. By age group, 10 people were in their 30s, followed by 8 people in their 20s and teens. The number of newly infected people last Saturday was 34, the first time in 31 days since August 25 that it exceeded the same day of the previous week. In addition, seven people were confirmed to be infected on the 25th at a disability welfare facility in Sendai City, and it was confirmed that a cluster had occurred.
