A member of staff at a facility for the disabled was arrested for sexually assaulting a visually impaired woman in her 20s in Tokyo, NHK reported on March 4th.
The suspect, aged 34, is a staff member of a facility for the disabled, in Nerima Ward, Tokyo.
According to investigators, it was suspected that he broke into an apartment room in Tokyo on March 3rd, threatened a visually impaired woman in her twenties, sexually assaulted her, and robbed her of about 25,000 yen in cash.
A suspicious motorcycle running away from near the scene after the incident was seen on a security camera, and the Metropolitan Police Department continues to investigate, and according to the investigators the suspect and the victim have do not know each other.
