Japan's Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare has compiled support measures to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection in facilities for persons with disabilities.

The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare has compiled support measures to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection in facilities for persons with disabilities. Subsidies for the introduction of equipment and systems for persons with disabilities who attend employment support offices to be trained at home and for renovation to make rooms private at the entrance facility. Part of a second emergency measure was decided by the government on the 10th. A total of 10.7 billion yen will be allocated.

Regarding work transition and continuation support offices, expenses related to the introduction and training of tablet terminals and smartphones will be subsidized.

Regarding entrance facilities,  the use of multiple rooms as individual rooms will be promoted. Partial renovation costs for installing partitions and movable doors will be provided.
