A draft of the bill to revise the Employment Promotion Act for Persons with Disabilities submitted to the ordinary Diet session next year by the government will be announced on Thursday 3rd January 2019, to deal with the problem in increasing the employment of persons with disabilities such as central ministries.
It imposes an obligation to notify the national government and local governments of disabled persons and prevent unfair dismissal. In addition to establishing access authority to other ministries and agencies and municipalities by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, we will also establish a benefit system for companies hiring people with disabilities who are short-term work that can not be included in the statutory employment rate and expand employment.
The government wants to strive to prevent reoccurrence by strengthening the checking function for administrative agencies.
