Gunma Prefecture Reports Twelve Errors were Made Linking ‘Disability Certificates’ to ‘My Number’ Cards

During the inspection of the My Number system, Gunma Prefecture announced on October 31 that it had confirmed 12 cases of errors in linking disability certificates to the system. The names and identification numbers of two different people with disabilities were linked to a single number, and the names and identification numbers of the different people could be viewed on “MyNa Portal,” a website for people who have obtained a MyNumber card.

2,336 People with Intellectual Disabilities’ Data in Miyazaki Linked to Wrong ‘My Number’ Information

The Miyazaki prefectural government in southwestern Japan said Wednesday that it has found 2,336 cases in which information on certificates issued to people with intellectual disabilities was linked to other people’s My Number personal identification numbers. Information such as the affected people’s degrees of disability and certificate numbers could be viewed on the Mynaportal online platform for My Number cardholders between October last year and Saturday.

62 ‘My Number’ Disability Certificate Linkage Mistakes Found in Japan’s Social Security System

Sixty-two cases in which My Number personal identification numbers were mistakenly linked with certificates for people with disabilities have been confirmed in the central Japan prefecture of Shizuoka, it was learned Tuesday.

On Tuesday, the health ministry asked local governments across the country to report by July 20 on how procedures for linking My Numbers with certificates for people with physical disabilities, for people with intellectual disabilities and for people with mental disorders are carried out and report by Sept. 29 whether there are any linkage errors.

Japan’s Social Security System ‘My Number’ Mistakenly Linked to Disability Certificate Holders in Shizuoka

Dozens of cases in which My Number personal identification numbers were mistakenly linked with certificates for people with disabilities have been confirmed in the central Japan prefecture of Shizuoka, the health ministry said Tuesday.
