Coronavirus cluster confirmed at Nagasaki disability welfare office, 21 infected

NAGASAKI – On the 10th, 21 new coronavirus-infected persons were announced in Nagasaki Prefecture. A new cluster has emerged at the disability welfare service office in Sasebo City.

A total of 21 people were newly confirmed, including 10 in Sasebo, 4 in Isahaya, 3 in Nagasaki and 3 in Hirado, and 1 in Saza. The total number of infected people in Nagasaki Prefecture is now 5716.

In Sasebo City, the infection of 5 users was confirmed by the announcement on the 10th at the disability welfare service office “Team Marushie” in Sasebo City, and it became a new cluster.

We are inspecting staff and other users, and say that there is no risk of infection to the general public.

On the 10th, Nagasaki Prefecture lowered the medical care provision system in the mainland of Nagasaki Prefecture from an emergency during the period of rapid increase in patients to Phase 4.

However, in Sasebo and Kita prefecture, the number of beds will be increased from the current level to secure 113 beds, and 102 new accommodation facilities will be secured in Sasebo city, and the maximum number of rooms in Nagasaki prefecture will be 535. bottom.
