17 new coronavirus infections found in Gunma Prefecture at facility for the disabled in Takasaki City

Takasaki City announced on September 7 that 17 people, including residents and staff at a facility for the people with disabilities, were confirmed as infected with the coronavirus.

Takasaki City, Gunma Pref -Takasaki City announced on September 7 that 17 people, including residents and staff at a facility for the people with disabilities, were confirmed as infected with the coronavirus. On the same day, the prefecture also confirmed 81 cases of the Delta variant, bringing the total number to 2,478 in the prefecture.

Gunma Prefecture had previously announced on July 31st that three employees and three users of a welfare service center for people with disabilities in the jurisdiction of the Isesaki Public Health Center had been confirmed to have been infected with the new coronavirus.
