Coronavirus cluster confirmed at a facility for children with disabilities in Shimonoseki City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, five people infected

All those who are infected live in Shimonoseki City, and four of them are patients and staff of a day-care centre for disabled children, including one person who had already been infected, five people were confirmed to have been infected at the facility, and the city has confirmed the outbreak as a cluster.

Shimonoseki City, Yamaguchi Pref – On June 20th, seven new cases of the new coronavirus were confirmed in Yamaguchi Prefecture.

All those who are infected live in Shimonoseki City, and four of them are patients and staff of a day-care centre for disabled children, including one person who had already been infected, five people were confirmed to have been infected at the facility, and the city has confirmed the outbreak as a cluster.

The total number of clusters in the prefecture is now 45.
