A Kasuga City official said that the suspicion is that on February 12th at around 8:40am, the suspect imprisoned and touched a girl with an intellectual disability at a convenience store in Ojono City. It is reported that a convenience store clerk called a police box nearby when they heard the sound of a girl screaming from inside the toilet.
This suspect was a staff member at a short stay facility for children with disabilities in Fukuoka City, looking after children after school. It was reported that on the evening of the 11th, the parents left their baby daughter at the facility, and on the morning of the 12th they were driving to school. The suspect reportedly quit from the facility after the incident was discovered.
