On the 24th October, the National Personnel Authority announced that in February 2019 the central government ministry will increase the number of employment for persons with disabilities, the National Personnel Authority will conduct a unified screening examination for national public servants targeted at persons with disabilities for the first time in February next year. It is expected that hundreds of disabled people will be hired across ministries and agencies.
The government agreed on a policy to prevent a reoccurrence of the problems in recruiting disabled people in April 2018. By the end of 2019 a total of about 4,000 persons with disabilities will be hired. Those who will be employed will have an education equivalent to a full-time high school graduate general worker, or will be considered more than it according to experience.
The first examination will be held on February next year, a written examination will be held at nine locations nationwide to recruit high school graduates. The visually and hearing impaired will be given assistance assistance. The second exam will be an interview. The primary examiner can choose the interview for the ministry that presented the work content he / she wants.
Since the primary examination is the same regardless of the type and degree of the disorder, the National Personnel Authority explained, “It will be difficult to pass for people with intellectual disabilities.”
