The doctor who conducted a psychiatric assessment on a man on trial over a 2016 fatal knife rampage in a care home for the mentally disabled said Friday the influence of his marijuana use during the attack was negligible.
Takeshi Ono, the father of Kazuya Ono, said in an interview, “I was able to hear a little about his parents, the words of the defendant were incoherent, and I felt that he did not answer bereaved lawyers properly. “
On February 5th, families of the victims asked questions of the defendant using the victim participation program.
After an eight day break, the next stage of trial of the Sagamihara Massacre’ accused will begin on February 5th, at which the families of victims who were either killed or survived, are reportedly planning to ask the defendant questions.
The new facility will have a monument to commemorate the 19 victims, the details of which will be discussed in the future, including whether or not to name them.
