JAPAN – Popular singer Ringo Sheena (43) created a special mark for her new album because it closely resembles the “help mark” to make it easier for people with disabilities to receive help. It was learned on the 14th that the metropolitan government had asked the record company, which sold the album, to take immediate action.

The help mark is designed with a white cross and a heart on a red background, and is used by attaching it to a bag or the like. Since 2012, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government has been distributing it to people who need special consideration, such as prosthetic legs and internal disabilities. It is spreading nationwide.

Ringo Sheena goods have an apple-like heart design, and the other merchandise are very similar.

  1. And as a Swiss citizens I request the Tokyo Government to re-design the helpmark without using the Swiss Cross ! A year after the Olympic Games Tokyo’s bureaucrats should know that Switzerland and the Red Cross are not the same!
