“I’m not satisfied with the consultation yesterday so please book again today.” writes the late Yuri Hayashi ALS patient

I said. On that day, I went to see a reliable doctor. When I got it, I found an abnormality immediately. I was told to go to the neurology department immediately.

The Kyoto District Public Prosecutors Office on Thursday August 13 indicted two doctors for allegedly killing a woman with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), an intractable disease, at the victim’s request.

The deceased, a woman aged 51 named Yuri Hayashi, ran a blog and a Twitter account.

Hayashi doesn’t make blog posts from December 28th 2018 until February 20th 2019, when she does post again it is to talk about Cannabidiol – the therapeutic benefits of which, Hayashi seems to doubt – saying:

To be honest, I didn’t understand the effect.Perhaps it worked for something. If it was more pure, I might have felt a difference.

Then on March 9 2019, Hayashi writes a blog post titled ‘The first day I went to a university hospital’, in which she briefly describes her being diagnosed with ALS. As with previous posts, it’s translated into English the paragraphing isn’t altered, as Hayashi was using a ‘speech to text’ program. If the paragraphing seems odd, it’s because that is the rhythm of her speech.

I remembered it when I saw a tweet searching for a hospital.

I went to a local orthopedic clinic when I got sick (the right leg didn’t go up), but I didn’t know the cause, so I decided to go to a university hospital with the recommendation of a friend.

What was said there

“Just lacking exercise! Hey there, people who are stuck watching old people or watching TV!”

“…”

The next day, the same again. Call the hospital

“I’m not satisfied with the consultation yesterday so please book again today.”

I said. On that day, I went to see a reliable doctor. When I got it, I found an abnormality immediately. I was told to go to the neurology department immediately.

It was a very speedy diagnosis. Except for the first doctor.

It seems better not to give up just because I was told something strange because there are many doctors at university hospitals. It seems that a lot of patients are told by doctors that they are terrible, but do not give up and look for a teacher that suits you.
