TOKYO – On December 4tb, NHK reported that lawmaker Yasuhiko Funago, a member of the Reiwa Shinseigumi Party, who has ALS said the following of Prime Minister Abe’s statements regarding a person with disabilities shredding invitations to a cherry blossom viewing party:
“The attributes of the staff in charge is not related to the problem of discarding the material. It is inappropriate to be told that it took time to dispose of it because of the employment of persons with disabilities.”
