Care worker arrested after death of a resident at an Osaka Prefecture care home for the disabled

A staff member who worked at a facility for disabled people in Ibaraki City, Osaka Prefecture, has been arrested for allegedly beating a resident of the care home to death in March of this year.

According to the police, the accusations against the care worker are that in March of this year, he assaulted a resident of a care home by sitting on his belly and holding his neck. The resident was thirty years old.

The dead man had multiple bruise marks on his chest and belly, and his throat was broken.
