Miyazaki Family Association Campaigns for Bicycle Helmet Wearing to Prevent Brain Injury

Miyazaki City –  On December 21st, the Miyazaki Higher Brain Dysfunction Disorder Family Association Akari (Chairman Tobita Hiroshi), made up of families of people with higher brain dysfunction in Miyazaki Prefecture, held its first street campaign promoting the wearing of bicycle helmets at an intersection in front of a department store in Miyazaki City. 

Since traffic accidents are one of the factors contributing to the onset of the disorder, the campaign was intended to publicize the need for helmets, which became mandatory in 2023, and to spread awareness of the disorder itself.
