Sho Kawai, Japanese Philosopher with Cerebral Palsy to Ask ‘Questions, Questions’ on New NHK Program

JAPAN – Japan’s NHK has produced a new program that explores “questions” through dialogue with a wide variety of people, including doctors who understand the language of birds, philosophers, businessmen, people with drug addictions and intellectual disabilities, and designers! How would you answer?

The person who posed the question was Sho Kawai, a philosopher with cerebral palsy. He has experienced such as not being able to become the student council president, not being able to go volunteer abroad, etc. Even though he wanted to be useful, he was unable to do so. Mr. Kawai explores the “question” himself!

「問い」を立てたのは脳性まひの哲学者、河合翔さん。生徒会長になれなかったり、海外ボランティアに行けなかったり…「役に立ちたい」と思いながらも実現できない経験を重ねてきた。
