Tokyo Metropolitan Gov’t Announces ‘Heart-to-Heart Handshake’ for ‘Disabled Persons Week’ from December 3rd-9th 2023

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government announced in a press release on November 7th that it will “will carry out various initiatives in conjunction with ‘Disabled Persons Week’ from December 3rd to 9th in order to give Tokyo residents an opportunity to learn about and think about disabilities and people with disabilities.”.

TOKYO – The Tokyo Metropolitan Government announced in a press release on November 7th that it “will carry out various initiatives in conjunction with ‘Disabled Persons Week’ from December 3rd to 9th in order to give Tokyo residents an opportunity to learn about and think about disabilities and people with disabilities.”

According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government website ‘Heart-to-Heart Handshake’, a “slogan suitable for Disabled Persons Week was chosen through a public contest, and the poster was selected from among the works selected for the 38th Tokyo Comprehensive Art Exhibition for Persons with Disabilities.”
