TOKYO – At the time of “Persons with Disabilities Week” that started on the 3rd, “Human Rights 110 for Persons with Disabilities” is being held, where lawyers respond to consultations from people with disabilities free of charge.
The three bar associations in Tokyo hold free consultation meetings from 10 am to respond to consultations from people with disabilities and their families by telephone and fax during the disabled week that started on the 3rd.
In the morning, there were consultations such as “The station is not fully barrier-free and I feel anxiety and inconvenience in my daily life.”
In addition, the three lawyers’ associations in Tokyo prepared a system last year to support “discharge requests” that require people who are hospitalized in psychiatric hospitals without their consent or who no longer need inpatient treatment to be discharged. Therefore, if you have any questions about the system, I would like you to consult with us.
Miho Kanzaki, a lawyer of the Dai-Ichi Tokyo Bar Association, said, “If you have any problems, feel free to consult with her and she wants to find a clue to solve the problem.”
Consultations will be accepted by 4 pm on the 3rd, by phone at 03-3595-8535 and fax at 03-3595-8539.
