TOKYO – Japan’s Princess Mako will marry her boyfriend Kei Komuro on Oct. 26 without traditional ceremonies, the Imperial Household Agency said Friday, as a three-year controversy continues to simmer following media reports of a financial dispute involving his mother.
It was also revealed that Princess Mako, a niece of Emperor Naruhito, has been feeling unwell since around 2018 and had been diagnosed with complex post-traumatic stress disorder caused by what she described as psychological abuse of the couple and their families.
