Five months into the investigation, the suspect was diagnosed as “narcissistic personality disorder.”
According to officials, the Yokohama District Court granted a request from the defense attorney in January this year, and a doctor separate from the investigation stage conducted a second appraisal after indictment. It ended in August and arrived at a diagnosis of personality disorder as well.
