Supporters of Sanseito took to the streets of Kobe on Saturday 31st January to promote the party’s platform ahead of an upcoming election.

KOBE – Supporters of Sanseito took to the streets of Kobe on Saturday 31st January to promote the party’s platform ahead of an upcoming election.

Campaigners gathered at several locations in the city, appealing to passerby’s with calls for greater civic engagement and politics rooted in everyday life. The party’s candidate for the area, Yasuhiko Hara, supporters emphasized Sanseito’s focus on education, community involvement and self-reliance.

Hara, 43, is a Kobe native and resident who graduated from the Faculty of Foreign Studies at Kansai Gaidai University.
