Hokkaido Care Home Staff Arrested for Unauthorized ATM Withdrawals from Disabled Residents Bank Accounts

Kazuhiro Miwa was arrested on the grounds that on Tuesday December 19th 2017 at around 8:30am that Miwa used a residents cash card to withdraw cash of 280,000 yen without the residents permission from an ATM at Japan Railway station.

According to the police, Miwa is suspected of using the withdrawals to repay debts or expenses, and Miwa has made such withdrawals more than once. Miwa claims to be legitimately be in engaged in managing the cash cards and passbooks of the residents.
