TOKYO – The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department arrested a man (46) on September 6th, on suspicion of kidnapping a woman with intellectual disabilities in her twenties and committing obscene acts against her.
The allegation is that at approximately 4:30PM on July 4th, the suspect saw the woman in Setagaya ward, and saying “let’s go ”, he forcibly brought her into his own apartment and touched her chest.
According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, the suspect had previously spoken to the woman at the same place in November 2018.
The suspect is reported to have said, “I thought that a child with intellectual disabilities would come home,” “I can no longer control my feelings about her.”
