On September 21st, the government decided to introduce a common written examination for persons with disabilities, concerning the employment of full-time staff of ministries and agencies, in response to the problem of employment of persons with disabilities in the central government.
The hope is to implement within the current fiscal year and make it possible to achieve a higher employment rate of persons with disabilities. Whether it will be implemented in the next fiscal year will considered in future after the temporary measures to resolve the immediate issue have be implemented.
At the 2nd liaison meeting of the related ministries and agencies, chaired by Kato Kato, Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare, held on February 21, the National Personnel Authority reported as consideration. In the future, the National Personnel Authority will set the quota on the number of hiring candidates for disabled people in each ministry and agency. Hasten the institutional design of concrete exams such as the age that can be applied.
If you pass the common written exam, whether you become a staff member will be decided after interview test etc. done for each ministry.
